TRIUMPH
THUNDERBIRD
The
Thunderbird, which was Hinckley’s first classically styled triple, blends
authentic retro styling and timeless three-cylinder character with modern engine
and chassis technology. Its
two-tone paintwork,
classical tank badge and traditional "peashooter" exhaust
silencers
reflect Triumph's rich heritage, as does the famous Thunderbird name itself.
The Thunderbird's 885cc, three-cylinder engine is tuned to deliver 70PS (69bhp) along with generous torque at very low revs, providing the perfect match for the relaxed riding style encouraged by the bike's laid-back character.
Chassis
design is simple yet effective, giving light, easy handling along with
unshakeable stability.
The upright riding position and low, broad seat aid
comfort and control, while efficient front and rear disc brakes give reassuring
stopping power.
Triumph's comprehensive range of accessories enables Thunderbird owners to personalize their bikes, adding further to the distinctive period look and feel.
A restriction kit complying with European Union Category A License regulations (34PS, 33bhp) is also available.
