The Cortech Jacket by Tour Master brings hybrid riding gear technology to a new level. The jacket shell is constructed from two types of Dupont Cordura nylon. 500 denier Cordura Plus is used at the collar, body and sleeves for added comfort and durability as well as abrasion-resistance. 1000 Denier Cordura Plus has been chosen for use at the shoulders and sleeve panels for added abrasion resistance. Polyurethane backed Cordura and Tour Master's five step, electronically welded, double stitched seams, make the Cortech 100% Waterproof.
Adjustable ventilation is delivered through zippered chest vents and a rear exit vent, while Cortech's unique venting deflector system, located on the chest of the zip-out liner, helps to shield and deflect the wind in cold weather riding conditions. Dual Density removable armor panels are inset in the back, shoulders and elbows, while the rotated sleeves provide comfort and performance in the riding position, with or without the armor. The outer shell includes 3M ScotchliteŽ reflective panels strategically placed on the sleeves and back to attract maximum reflected light for increased visibility. A total of nine easy access pockets and compartments are equipped with plenty of zippers and Velcro along with a built in dual access fanny pocket to provide abundant storage.
The jacket front has a two way zipper with pull tab and is encased in a weather-beating double wind flap with full length Velcro. A fixed 100% nylon mesh liner is layered between the outer shell and the zip-out removable liner, while the body, sleeves and snap-in cuffs use a balanced combination of 3M Thinsulate, from 100 to 150 grams, for maximum insulated and minimum bulk. The elastic flex panel in the waist and the 1 1/2" wide adjustable belt both compliment the jacket's sizing.
