A rainy muddy night, a shortened program,
great racing all around! McGrath leads his semi, Carmichael wins his by a
mile, Stewart is ridiculously fast - and the mains haven't even begun. 250 Main: McGrath out early, Windham leads most of the way, multiple crashes by all leaders, position swapping galore, crazy! Reed near the front early before crashes and equipment problems. Transponders fail, announcers aren't even sure of final standings other than Windham got the checkered flag first. 1. Kevin Windham (CRF450) 2. Mike LaRocco (CR250) 3. Ricky Carmichael (RM250) 4. Sebastien Tortelli (RM-Z450) / 1. Nathan Ramsey (KTM 250 SXF) 2. Joshua Woods (CRF250R) 3. Akira Narita (CRF250R) 4. Thomas Hahn (CRF250F) |

Let the racing begin. In normal conditions we
get to see who has the speed - surprisingly it's RC and Windham. Reed gets
3rd, but with slower lap times. McGrath near the front and falls back to
9th. Stewart hurts arm in practice after setting fastest lap - doesn't
race. Suzuki sweeps 125 & 250! When did we last see this? 1. Ricky Carmichael (RM250) 2. Kevin Windham (CRF450) 3. Chad Reed (YZ250) 4. E. Fonseca (CR250) / 1. Broc Helper (Z250) 2. Ivan Tedesco (KX250F) 3. Ryan Sipes (Z250) 4. Turbo Reif (250R) |

Stewart returns, leads, falls. Maybe the best
race of the season with Reed, Stewart and RC up front. Windham a good
showing. 1. Chad Reed (YZ250) 2. Ricky Carmichael (RM250) 3. James Stewart (KX250) 4. Kevin Windham (CRF450) 5. D. Vuillemin (YZ250) / 1. David Millsaps (RM250Z) 2. Grant Langston (KX125) 3. Joshua Hansen (SXF250) 4. Matt Walker |

Stewart shows incredible speeds and easily pulls
away from RC and CR - but can he stay on the bike? The night proved to be
his as he gets his first 250 win on his 3rd try. The rest of the series
could certainly be his now that he's got things worked out. His speed looks
to be flustering RC. 1. James Stewart (KX250) 2. Ricky Carmichael (RM250) 3. Chad Reed (YZ250) 4. S. Tortelli (RM-Z450) 5. Mike LaRocco (CR250) / A night of 125 riders taking each other out. GL stays out of the fight to win the battle. So what about the penalties the AMA used to hand out to the 250 riders? It's getting exciting! 1. Grant Langston (KX125) 2. David Millsaps (RM250Z) 3. Matt Walker (KX250F) 4. Joshua Hansen (SXF250) |

Stewart checks out - he's on his own planet.
Reed crashes in the first corner, gets up and almost passes Carmichael for
forth! Windham has a great night and passes Carmichael late in the race
for second. 1. James Stewart (KX250) 2. Ricky Carmichael (RM250) 3. Kevin Windham (CRF450) 4. Chad Reed (YZ250) 5. Mike LaRocco (CR250) / 1. Nathan Ramsey (KTM 250 SXF) 2. Andrew Short (CRF250) 3. Ivan Tedesco (KX250F) 4. B. Laninovich (CRF250) |
| April 30 | Houston, TX | Reliant Stadium |
Great battles, Reed gets aggressive and pushes
hard, Carmichael shows speed equal to reed that has been missing lately.
LaRocco crashes and knocks himself out. Did anyone else notice Reed had an
all new riding style? He's doing his own version of the Bubba Scrub - and
it's working for him. Has anyone else noticed? Look at the tape. 1. James Stewart (KX250) 2. Chad Reed (YZ250) 3. Ricky Carmichael (RM250) 4. Kevin Windham (CRF450) 5. D. Vuillemin (YZ250) / 1. Andrew Short (CRF250) 2. B. Laninovich (CRF250) 3. Broc Helper (Z250) 4. Jay Marmont (SXF250) |
