2003 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Classic
2003 KAWASAKI VULCAN 1600 CLASSIC
Bigger, longer, lowerThe successor to the popular Kawasaki Vulcan® 1500 Classic motorcycle. The 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Classic is more than up to the challenge of carrying the big V-Twin Classic flag for Kawasaki. With an increased engine displacement from 1470cc to 1552cc, the Vulcan 1600 Classic's engine is precisely tuned for low and mid-range power providing throaty acceleration. Piston, rod and crank were all modified to achieve the optimum performance that Kawasaki engineers desired while designing the new Classic.
Attention to the engine finish was not ignored as the color
changed from black to silver complimenting the newly designed head and air cleaner covers. To meet the current demand for long and low styling in the cruiser market, the wheelbase was increased approximately 20mm and the fenders, side covers and seat height were all lowered enhancing the Vulcan 1600's classic image. In addition there's a wider rear tire, larger headlight, chrome mirrors and dual front disc brakes to finish off the 2003 Vulcan's clean and sleek appearance.
