A note to our
valued customers: Other GPS makers claim to have a unit
made specifically for motorcycles. It might be sold for motorcycle
use, but we don't agree it works best for motorcycles. From what we
learned about the competition is their unit (using the same user
interface as for autos) wasn't designed by motorcyclist for
motorcyclists. We traveled to the SEMA show in Vegas and spoke with
both manufactures, including a Garmin representative who helped with
the development of the Zumo, and who had just returned from the last
MotoGP race of the season. The result of our Vegas trip was that we
ran out and found suppliers so that we could offer what, we feel, is the best new GPS for motorcycling - the Zumo.
