The new scala-rider FM™ Bluetooth™ helmet headset is a great solution to a real world need, and this FM unit adds an
FM radio to the mix. Now motorcyclists and snowmobilers can benefit from wireless hands free communication.
The Scala Rider unit simply syncs with your Bluetooth capable phone. This means you can carry your
phone in a pocket or tankbag  while the helmet headset connects to your phone without any
wires to get in the way. The headset easily mounts to any full-face or standard
open-face helmet. If you use an FM transmitting device with your XM  or
iPod, you can hear the signal in this headset if you tune
to the correct FM channel.
 

Features: The Rider FM is the same as the Rider - but ads an FM radio If you use an XM radio that transmits an FM signal (like the MyFi) you can tune to that channel to hear your XM wirelessly! You can also hear an iPod type device if you use an FM transmitter with it like you would use in your car. Receive and initiate calls through your Bluetooth enabled cell phone, and you'll actually be able to understand what is being said. VOX (voice activated) technology enables you to receive or reject calls by voice control. (if your phone supports these features) Automatically adjusts volume according to exterior wind, road and machine noise. Very lightweight unit.
