SKI-DOO GRAND TOURING AND TOURING MAIN FEATURES
Rotax engines. There's the full complement of reliable Rotax engines in the touring segment, from the 699cc liquid-cooled triple-cylinder, triple-pipe powerhouse in the Grand Touring SE model to the Rotax 377 fan-cooled engine in the Touring E sled. All liquid liquid-cooled models have R.A.V.E. exhaust port modifiers for more torque, throttle response and fuel economy in the low- and mid-rpm ranges, and all liquid-cooled twins have the precise performance of rotary valves.
SC-10 rear suspensions. Riding in comfort is what touring is all about. The SC-10 High Performance LT delivers a premium ride and precise handling. Its ACM coupler provides more ski bite in the corners, especially with two riders. Touring models utilize the SC-10 Touring rear skidframe, comfortable for two riders in a range of trail conditions and speeds. Motion Control gas shocks are standard on most models.
Light, advanced chassis. The Grand Touring SE and Grand Touring 700 models are built on the new triple-cylinder chassis, the CK3". It sets new standards in triple cylinder sled handling, looks and fit and finish. Other touring models are constructed on the sleek S-2000 chassis, which give the sleds a light and compact feel.
DSA front suspensions. The trailing arm design makes for crisp handling and ample bump absorption. The CK3 sleds have a new unequal length radius rod configuration for zero bump steer and scrub, resulting in more precise steering. Motion Control gas shocks are standard on most models.
Comfort and convenience features. From the fully loaded Grand Touring SE sled to the Touring E machine, all Ski-DOO touring models have a host of comfort features, like heated handgrips, backrests and plush four-way-stretch two-up seats.
New colors. All Grand Touring sleds, except the SE model (still Bavarian blue), are now a cool sapphire blue. All Touring machines sport a rich pine green color.
