FUTURE CONCEPT DESIGNS

Zodia
- The Zodia's sensuous body lines wrap around many unique, forward looking technologies. Powered by a 1500cc maintenance-free overhead camshaft V-twin, the Zodia transfers engine power to the rear wheel using Honda's innovative hydro-mechanical automatic transmission, the HFT (Human-Fitting Transmission). Beautifully designed wheels are suspended by trailing link front suspension and a single-sided rear swingarm. Braking is supplied by unique, rim-mounted brakes assisted by Honda's latest generation of Linked Braking/Antilock Braking System.

FN-1 - The FN-1's radical modern form is breathtaking. Built around a 1500+cc liquid cooled V-4 engine, its powerful proportions feature a bold, upswept exhaust system, front and rear mono-arm suspensions, and rim- mounted brakes with Honda's Linked Braking/Antilock Braking System.

CL400RS - This 400cc single-cylinder 4-stroke features neo-classic styling reminiscent of early street scramblers. The lines are clean and simple, honoring a design that introduced millions to motorcycling.

FB-S - A new-generation big scooter, the FB-S features a 400cc liquid- cooled 4-stroke flat twin cylinder engine. The eye-catching design delivers a ride and feel that's more like a motorcycle than a scooter.

Renoa - This nostalgically styled small displacement single expresses a warm, retro-European look. Complimenting its 125cc air cooled 4-stroke engine are 21-inch spoked wheels.

Hybrid Two-Wheeler with M.H.S. (Modulated Hybrid System) - This advanced hybrid design showcases one Honda R & D engineering solution to the increasing global concern for environmental and fuel conservation problems. The 49cc 4-stroke single cylinder engine provides strong hill climbing and high speed performance. Its .6kW brushless DC motor engages for low speed cruising. Overall fuel efficiency improves 250% and C02 emissions drop 60% compared to a similar-sized gasoline-only powered vehicle. Both front and rear suspensions feature single-sided swingarms.
